Fisch is a Roblox fishing-and-progression game built around traveling to new locations, catching fish to fill your Bestiary, and upgrading to stronger rods that unlock harder zones and rarer hunts. The gameplay loop is simple—cast, reel, sell, upgrade—but the long-term grind comes from location-based fish pools, event spawns, and progression gates like “50% Bestiary” or “100% Bestiary” for endgame items. Seasonal updates add limited rewards, buffs, and cosmetics, while permanent updates expand the map with new islands, rods, and collections.
Scoria Reach is the newest major update island: a lava island with heat damage, crab mining, a new permanent Bestiary, and two major rods. Also, Fisch added Valentine’s features like gifting discounts, special storms, and limited rewards.
Crag Crab Mining in Scoria Mines (pearls from lava clams crabs mine materials/ores)
New permanent Scoria Reach Bestiary + hidden fish pools (Fish Radar recommended)
Skeletal Leviathan hunt inside the volcano (chance-based spawn conditions)
Two new permanent rods in Scoria Reach (one gated by a full quest chain)
Valentine event features (special storms, gifting discount, duo reward, Nurse NPC)
Where is Scoria Reach and how to get there
Scoria Reach is a new map area that looks like a molten desert island. Many players noticed the island feels placed near the edge of the current map routes. So if you’re exploring, look for the lava biome and new NPCs/merchant setups.
Tip: The first time you arrive, you’ll start taking heat damage fast. Your first goal is not “rare fish” but it’s survival gear.
Buy Scoria Armor first (required for volcano grinding)
Scoria Reach is built around heat mechanics.
Scoria Armor
Effect: lets you survive inside the Scoria Volcano without dying “extremely fast” from heat
Important: it does not make you fully immune and you still need to leave the volcano sometimes
Cost:C$ 75,000
Best early move: grind a few new fish near the surface → hit the merchant → buy Scoria Armor → then start doing volcano + mines safely.
Scoria Reach Bestiary
This update heavily uses Bestiary completion as gates.
Key unlock gates

Requirement
Why it matters
Daybreaker Rod purchase
50% Scoria Reach Bestiary
Needed for deeper progression and volcano steps
Quest start (Skoria Guard)
100% Scoria Reach Bestiary
Required to unlock the endgame rod chain
Important:
You cannot start the main rod quest unless you have 100% Bestiary done.
Fast Bestiary tips
Bring Fish Radar so you can find micro-areas with unique fish pools (Scoria Reach has “hidden fish” that are location-specific).
Prioritize common/uncommon entries first, then lock in the “only spawns here” fish.
Crag Crab Mining
In Scoria Mines you’ll find Crag Crabs. The loop:
Fish near the lava clam areas to obtain pearls
Go to Scoria Mines and equip a pearl
Send a crab to mine
Wait a short time, then claim the mined materials
Patch notes describe this as a core method for collecting random ores/materials that support progression.
Practical grind strategy
Run multiple crabs at once (feed pearls whenever you can)
While they mine, keep fishing Bestiary entries nearby
Rotate: fish → pearls → crabs → claim → repeat
Daybreaker Rod:
Daybreaker is the “first big rod” from Scoria Reach.
Cost:C$ 750,000 (merchant area)
Requirement:50% Scoria Reach Bestiary (you’ll hit this for sure if you grind the island)
Note: it’s tied to the new hunt focus and progression chain.
Tip: you’ll need it later for the volcano step that leads into the endgame rod quest.
Skeletal Leviathan Hunt
Scoria Reach introduces a Skeletal Leviathan hunt inside the volcano. Its a dangerous encounter with a small chance to appear under certain conditions (agitated/new night).
Hunt tips
Bring Scoria Armor so you can stay in the volcano longer
Expect RNG: it may take multiple sessions
If you’re specifically hunting, avoid wasting time: fish in the volcano where the hunt triggers are relevant
